Hello all on the Dream Views forums!

I'm new here, and thought I should, you know, introduce myself or something.

So here I am. My first introduction to dreaming was in elementary school when I read some Carlos Castaneda (The Art of Dreaming), but that was only a passing interest. I learned about "lucid dreaming" proper about three years ago, when I discovered Creative Dreaming by Patricia Garfield in a local second-hand book shop. From there I found LaBerg's ETWOLD, which I read from cover to cover.

Since that time I have kept a dream journal off and on. I had my first DILD two years ago, and a few more in the year following. I basically stopped my dream journal and RCing etc for a while (mainly because I never had good sleep cycles in the last couple years of high school), but in the past few months I have become interested again.

I discovered Dream Views in the external links section of the Wikipedia article on lucid dreaming a few weeks ago, and since then the info here has helped me to induce my first WILD!

This looks like a great community. I especially like the monthly lucid tasks (sound like great fun), which I plan to participate in when I become good enough at LDing.

So that's that, I guess.
