Well, i was wondering If anyone can give me some tips of what im doing wrong or what i need to do. My problem is this: I can recall my dreams fairly well(most nights i can remember atleast 2), but the problem is I just seem to go along with my dream. What I mean is after I wake up and recall my dreams there are alot of things that dont make sence, dreamsigns if you will. But i seem to just accept my dreams, now that im awake I realise that I must have been dreaming but when Im dreaming I just go along with the dream. Hope I dint confuse anyone. Thanks.

I'm not sure if double posting is against the rules, but I find it slightly annoying. I'm not a mod or highly respected member of the forum so ignore me if you wish. Life as we know it will certainly not come to an end...

Beautifully put... "Constant vigilance!" That sums it up for me. Keep doing reality checks while awake and they will (hopefully) pass over to your subconscious while sleeping. Don't limit yourself to just one reality check though, as some may work better for you than others.

I know what your saying the same thing happenes to me alot, but more often now i am realizing things dont add up.

Im not sure if there would be a way to change this accept thinking about your dream signs all the time, to hoppfully remember them in a dream.

Do alot of reality checks, lastnight was the firstime i EVER became lucid from just realizing somthing was really wrong (i was looking in mirror and my hair was really short and its a inch or two long.)

I can fly on a slug accross the dessert, then stop because i see a magic guyzer of vodka springing up from a rock drink lots of it, then ride the slug to My friends house which happens to be in the middle of the dessert and instead of merting him at the door pamela anderson is there. All this and i wouldnt notice, hey thats werid?

For me its taking lots of time to notice the irregual things in dreams, so i dont really think you are doing anything wrong.

I find myself not noticeing things that are very unreal in dreams...and even if I do I have a tendancy to get distracted easily as soon as something else happens. Oh yea, Welcome.

HI and welcome. Try pinching your nose instead. I tried using the hands for a long time and i always forgot in my dreams. Then I started with piching my nose and that worked very well in my dream.

Also, check out my attempt at HILD in my sig. It's been getting some success.

Hi and welcome to the forum

If you need help the most info you could need is at the Tutorials Section. The blow through the hand RC is effective but then so it the checking your hands one that you have been doing. Just give the reality checks time, after a while your brain will make it like a routine and make it cross over into your dreams.

Hi, welcome, etc. I know what you mean. Something totally crazy can happen to me (like being kidnapped by Johnny Depp ) and I just accept it. But then when my quilt has pictures of puppies instead of flowers, I know I'm dreaming.
