Well, I'm no expert as I don't LD often, but there is no true "best" method. Different things work for different people, i.e. heavy/light sleepers, natural LD ability, etc...

There are a few methods that many have success, and that might be good starting points. For one, having dream recall is absolutely vital. WBTB followed by MILD is great, as not only do recall chances increase from waking up early, but it seems to help in attaining lucidity.

Also, reality checks (good ones) are a MUST for any method, or even if you're not using a method. Otherwise, one would never "check" if they're dreaming; thus, no LD...

      Hi there,

Yeah like Richter said do the WBTB after a few hours of sleep, the stay awake for roughly an hour. After that just try a MILD. After a while you should get a lucid. Just remember every one's different.

I have no problem recalling dreams, as this is just a habit I'ave had since I was a child...just for fun. I know of a couple times years ago, spread out, that I had spontaneous dreams in which I realized I was dreaming.

I just can't figure out for my life how to intentionally induce lucidty.
