Hey Everyone!!! Firstly I'd just like to comment on such a very friendly forum! (don't find many! ) So heres my story..... .....i first heard bout Lucid Dreaming at a band practice with an old band i was in. We were sitting round in the drummers house trying to think of a band name, when out of the corner of my eye i spotted a book called Lucid Dreaming, which lead to 'LuSid' as a band name. Anyway, in the years to follow I'd always been quite interested in LDing but because the lack of info i could find i slowly forgot about it. For the last few year I've noticed in my dreams i usually cannot run at a pace faster than walking, which really annoys me in dreams as in RL I'm quite athletic. But something amazing happened to me bout 2 months ago, i was dreaming away and i was standing on the street i grew up on, I've never been there as an adult in RL. So for whatever reason i was trying to run and again found myself barely moving and for some strange reason i shouted ' THIS ALWAYS HAPPENS!' and then it hit me. when i said those worlds i got a strange feeling and then i said ' I'm Dreaming' ! i couldn't believe it and got so excited that i woke up, very disappointed as i didn't try any cool things. Thats my only LD experience, but i now know it is possible!!! Ive read over some of the tutorials and am goning to start trying right this second!! Ive sent up my dream diary next to my bed, although i am very very god at remembering dreams, even for weeks i can still remember most of them : ) So if you guys have any advice you wanna throw my way, please feel free! also what are the best RCs and how should i use the in RL to program them into my brain : ) : ) I hope we can all enjoy happy Lding!!! Welcome to Dreamviews forums Kev! Your first LD is a lot like mine. I woke up immediately because I was so excited. But trust me, it only gets easier every time. It sounds like you have everything under control. Now that you have the motivation again, my only advice is to not lose that motivation. Keep up with your dream journal, and good luck!

LuSids a retarted band name. But welcome! Yes DJ are vital, well maybe not in your case. But deff write your LD's down so you can reflect on them, they also help determine dream signs. Good luck with LDING later.

Cheers for the support so far guys, Riff your right dude, it was a lame band name! That bands long gone now, but if i hadn't called the band that i may have never experienced LDing, so all good : ) One thing I've just remember as i was reading thru some of the topics on here. Somebody mentioned something about jumping and doing flips while LDing, this really hit my brain hard coz now that i think about it, i do that in dreams a lot. i can jump real high as well, like 100ft, although i do it without thinking, as if its normal. but when i do it its not like me, more like a no gravity thing. Hopefully next time I'll remember : )
