Hello every one, it's good to meet you all. Im very happy to have found this forum.
I was looking for something new to read about lucid dreaming, and I found dream views.
There seems to be no end of stuff to read here.
Im a pretty experienced lucid dreamer. I induced my first lucid dream, sometime
in the 80's.
As a kid, I always thought that if a person could realize they were dreaming, it would be
the ultimate experience. But, my ignorant child logic, told me that if it was possible, wouldn't
every one be doing it and talking about it all the time? And since they were not, I never really
tried to do it.
Until one day, after watching a movie called Dreamscape, I wanted to realize I was dreaming
so bad, that I decided possible or not, I was going to make it happen! That night, I went to sleep
with such an intense, and powerful desire to do it, that I induced my first lucid dream!
I was even able to remember, what I wanted to try doing. I held up my hand, and forced it to
mutate into a monster claw. I had just enough time, to stare at my hand in fascination for a moment,
before waking up.
For quite awhile, I thought I was pretty much the only person doing this. Then one day,
I came across Exploring the world of Lucid dreaming, at my favorite book store.
You can imagine my surprise, and excitement.
Anyway, Im one of those people, that can't really share this stuff with the people around me.
I have been a lonely lucid dreamer for a long time. Since finding dream views, I dont feel quite so
alone in the world anymore. Thank's for having me.
