      Hello forumgoers

For a speech for one of my college classes I chose to speak about lucid dreaming (and naturally, why one would want to lucid dream). I have minor experience in this area myself, as I've occassionally experienced lucidity in dreams and had false awakenings, and I've read the entire Dream Views site as well as some others for help with my knowledge and help for my speech.

my question is, do any of you know of some good, concrete resources I could cite in my speech, such as news articles or database pages? Basically I'm not allowed to use simply ".com" sources due to the obvious possibility of non-factual information. However, I'm finding some difficulty when using search engines to find published articles about lucid dreaming in general/techniques/etc.

      Any help would be appreciated.

There are books out there that talk about Lucid Dreaming. Now I can't give you direct links to these books for I have not looked for them...I just heard about them.

I know there are a wealth of books out there, but my time requirements, and the fact that my speech can only be around 6-8 minutes, limits the scope of the assignment, which is why I'm more concerned about shorter resources like articles.

I'm not sure if they would count, but www.lucidity.com has some published articles, and some excerpts from books. If you list the source as the book or journal the section came from instead of the URL, I think that you might be able to use them.
