      Hello. Another delurker here. :)

      Hi everyone

I just found dreamview.com and this forum tonight. My name is Christian and I'm 35. I started looking up dream symbols (and keeping a dream journal) about five months back and when I started that I realized that my dreams were telling me things I needed to know. Now I want to hone my dreaming skills all that I can!

I've begun to see some recurring themes in my dreams (roads/streets, vehicles, fire trucks & firefighters, parents/siblings/friends representing different aspects of myself, buildings, bodies of water, etc).

I have seen, in at least one dream, a person who might be my "inner guide" as some call them. She was wearing blue, and that's supposed to be one way to know. She had a name, too: Julie. It was the second time I'd come across that name in my dreams.

I might have had something of a lucid dream last night. I was driving a black Corvette and it felt too big and I could barely reach the pedals but then in another scene in my dream (or perhaps a separate dream) the black Corvette was smaller and fit me great -- of course it was also a Saturn in that scene. it still looked like the Corvette, but it was a Saturn. That brand name changed because Saturn, the planet, is a symbol of ambition and things like that and that's relevant to what I've been experiencing in waking life lately.

Anyhow, I'm not sure if the car changed because I willed it to or something (although I guess it probably did). I was aware that the car had changed while I was dreaming, not just afterwards. That might have been a mini lucid dream, I guess!

O God, I could be bounded in a nutshell and count myself a king of infinite space, were it not that I have bad dreams.

In NOES do you remember the scene in English class where Nancy has a nightmare? Right before she falls asleep there's a student standing at the front of the room reading from the book and right after Nancy falls asleep he switches to that quote. I always that was a great touch!
