      TILD?

Hey I havnt had anything to drink since noon, Im getting sort of thirsty now, and I am going to drop a few drops of hot sauce on my tounge to make me really thirsty, unfortunetly i cannot wake up in 6 hours to put the glass of water next to my bed, can i just do it before i go to bed with nothing in my mind? or should i think 'i must be dreaming!' over and over that sort of worked last night but i lost the dream twice

If you don't wake up 6 hours to refill the water, the method is somewhat pointless because it's easier to remember your dreams if you wake up, go to sleep with the intention that you will remember you are dreaming, because you will automatically enter REM sleep.

Plus, I wouldn't recommend performing TILD because you can become dehydrated. Try the MILD instead, or start recording your dreams, find dream symbols/themes, and preform reality checks when you find these similar/same symbols/themes. You will eventually preform the reality check in a dream and BAM, you'll be lucid dreaming!

yea i sort of scrapped the whole TILD idea, I just told myself I WILL WAKE UP AFTER I DREAM! and after some dream about math, I woke up and wrote it down! and I woke up 6 and 1/2 hours after I went to bed, I was so excited that I couldnt fall asleep for more than 30 minutes at a time lol

Both me and my wife woke up dehydrated last night for some odd reason
And both of us had some very vivid, strange dreams
And to boot, mine were lucid, vivid and pretty damn good.

Perhaps TILD can work after all

Did you do anything in common that might have caused that effect?
      If I hadn't made me
I'd be more inclined to bow
Powers that be would have swallowed me up
But that's more than I can allow...

Not that I can think of. I went out for supper, and my wife stayed home.
So we didn't eat the same thing.

The only possibility I can come up with is to do with the weather and temperature.
I remember when I used to go to sleep with an electric underblanket, I would wake up dehydrated and feel like I have a hangover.
We used an electric blanket that night, but took it off before going to sleep.
And it was fuggen cold that night too (not in the bed, outside the bed)
