      How Long...

      I started working on LDing about a week ago. I am not expecting to pick it up by tomorrow, but i am working on it through a dream journal and telling myself i will have one, and i have made a little practice. My question, how long does it usually take to start having them?

      It varies for different people. I've only had one lucid dream , and that was when I was younger!!! I've always been interested in dreams, but I seriously started recording my dreams 6 months ago. Of course, it was during school- very stressful time- and for some periods I would drift away from the relm of lucid dreaming induction methods.

      However, school is out in two weeks, so I believe during the summer I'll be able to focus more on my goal and achieve lucid dreaming!

      It usually takes on average a month or two. Lots of people take longer. Like you said, if you don't do it naturally it'll take a while.
