      Question Slow Lucid Dreams (Help!)

Whenever I have a lucid dream (about 3 or 4 now) they're always really slow. I just move slow and can't seem to get any faster. I try spinning (I know this is for keeping the dream going but I don't know what else to do.) and whatnot but it doesn't work. Can anyone help? If you need more info I'd be happy to provide some.

I know there are many people out there who have experienced the same thing.

There are multiple things you can try out next time:

      A. Simply yell, in a commanding way- INCREASE SPEED (Or something of this nature. Remember, you are in complete control, as long as you believe that)

      B. Do something in your next LD, like drive a race car. That may snap you out of it.

      C. Ask a DC (Dream Character) if they can teach you how to move at normal speed. They will help you unlock something I'm sure.

      D. If you want to go for a more advanced idea, check out my sig under "Lucid Pills" and create yourself a pill that makes dream speed normal.

      Good Luck!
Lucid Dream Count: N/A (3-7 a week average)

      Current Goal(s): Master dream control/length, Master WILD'ing

Have no fear; For the power behind you is greater than any problem ahead of you.

      Thanks! I'll try them all.

I've had that happen before, where it almost feels like everything is in slow motion.

Basically, you just need to take more control of your dream. The absolute best way, that has never failed me yet, to gain full control and make my dream much more vivid...is to pause and examine the palms of my hands. Look at them closely in detail, at every little wrinkle...and say forcefully "stabilize lucidity now". This will bring it into your control...when you look up, you'll find everything much more clearer as well. Whenever you feel as though your dream is starting to get blurry, or that it's starting to fade...again, quickly examine your hands and say with force "stabilize lucidity now". Sometimes I find that I only have to do it every 30 seconds or so, and sometimes I find that I only have to do it every several minutes.

      Good luck!

edit: and personally...I find dream characters to be extremely unhelpful so I don't suggest trying to ask them questions, but everyone finds their own ways I guess

I've heard of that but forgot it. I also never heard of saying that while looking at your palms tho. Thanks for the help!

      Do something really cool.

Whenever I do something cool like glide or do a backflip I always see it in slow motion like you would in a movie. Once I land it goes right back to normal.
