      Hello, im new...

      This has probably been posted a quarter-million times, but.... How DO you lucid dream? I've been curious about it for some time and want to know how, thanks.

      Welcome to the forum and the community! We're glad to have you on board.

      There is no real easy answer to your question. There are many techniques... take a peek at the tutorials section to get a start there. Pick one or two that make sense to you and go for it.

      Read about other's experiences too, in the dreaming sections and the dream journals. Remember that it is a discipline and does take some effort, and it isn't the same for everybody.

      Thanks, i had a lucid dream, once. I was seven and well, went to sleep! I dremt i was being attacked by sabre-toothed tigers, and as i was hiding, figured out it was a dream and that if i fell asleep in it, i might wake up!! So i did, and ended up having 8-10 FA's!

      How cool. Did you know they were FA's?

      When I was young, I had a lot of LDs but didn't know what they were. Now that I want to have them, they are very elusive for me.

      I didn't know what had happened either, it rather shocked me. I read about FAs in the Acronym guide on this site. I would lie down, and wake up, and eveything would seem normal, but then i would be chased again. I was like I'm TRAPPPED! I was afraid to dream from then on.

      Well - take the time to learn about it. You sound like you may be a 'natural', which is rare and pretty amazing. We have a few naturals around here.
