      most reliable LD technique?

i am wondering because there are so many techniques and i would like to know which ones work the best.i tried the fild technique two nights in a row and it didnt work. i should also add that i've had several lucid dreams already just by chance.

fellow dreamer: I believe you will have to develope a great deal of patience.
Try several methods for a while, whatever appeals to you. Let your inner intutive sense guide you. Read the tuturiols often and get what you can from them. And remember Patience is the remedy for every problem.

Any technique combined with WBTB seems to work best. Even if you can't do a MILD or WILD or what have you properly, WBTB gives you a better chance of spontaneously having an LD.

I totally agree with Mes Tarrant.. any technique combined with WBTB certainly seems to increase your chances for lucidity (personally I use WBTB with WILD).

Also two nights in a row is not enough time to prove that a technique won't work for you. Try something at least a couple of weeks before dismissing it.

i know this abit out of the blue,

but ive had 3-4 WILD's happen in the last month without even trying.

But it freaked me out, felt like something was in the room with me lunging.

I think meditation helps, read some about that.

In my opinion the WBTB is needed to have a lucid, don't get me wrong you can lucid dream with out WBTB, it just helps.

A MILD is very helpful at lucid dreaming but it takes time to do, I recommend that. However a WILD makes you go to straight into a lucid dream but is very hard to do.

      I recommend WBTB and MILD.
