Hi, im glad i found this site, because i've been wondering about lucid dreaming for a while now. I have only had 1 lucid dream in my life, and it was when i was about 12-13, and I thought it was the coolest thing ever, too bad i didn't know what its name was. Im actually going to try the WILD method tonight. I dont expect to be able to do it on the first time, but I am confident that i can do it, because I have done it once before. Although i am a bit sketchy on what a dreamguide is supposed to do. Do they tell you how to control things in your dream? or do they just help you?

Hey there, I'm new too. Welcome! From what I've heard, a Dreamguide is someone who can give you insight on your dreams as well as help you with real life problems. They're a sort of dream companion, more unique than any other DC Good luck with WILDing

Hi and welcome Vandorin. Always be confident when you're going to shoot for a lucid dream. Actually, be confident in anything you do. Try to weed the negativity out of your thoughts and go for it. WILD away. A dreamguide can be anything, a helper, a mentor, a tourguide of your dreamscapes. I tried to summon my dreamguide once and the Joker from Batman turned up. Could be anything or anyone. Good luck finding him/her or it.

Out of the Blue and Vex Kitten have provided you with good descriptions of a dreamguide (tho I've not heard of a dreamguide helping with real life problems.. which doesn't mean you couldn't ask one). It's great that you're confident as that lets your subconscious know that you're serious about lucidity and that should help you achieve it! Welcome to the forum and may all your dreams be lucid!
