      Arrow Hello all :)

Hi everyone. I'm new around here. I was just searching for a forum where I could come and get some input on dreams that I have been having. For as long as I can remember I have been very aware of my dreams and remember at least one from every night. Can't wait to discuss things!

Anyway, a few basics about me. I'm 22, a college student almost done with a degree in English with an emphasis on writing, and I'm currently seeking new employment. It's looking like I'm going back to an old job though.

      Talk to you all soon!

PS; I thought I would include my latest dream, for your entertainment. It's posted elsewhere on the site, but I thought it would give people a good idea about the kind of dreams I have. They are usually pretty vivid. Also, if you have any ideas on it I would love to hear them!

The dream begins with me running errands with my grandmother. I am very pregnant at this point and while I am not in labor, I keep telling her that we have to keep track of the time so I can get to the hospital. We're outside in the parking lot of a Walmart somewhere, it is night, and it's beginning to rain. Suddenly, we are on a rickety wooden roller coaster, but I am not afraid. I do think that it's dangerous for me to be riding it, knowing that I am pregnant.

Then I flash to a hospital room that is very warm and inviting I guess you would say. I am lying in the bed, in labor, completely naked. The bed is in the middle of the room with windows in front of me and to my left. There is a wall and a door to my right. Behind me I am aware of a plain wall and lots of people around (doctors, nurses, family, etc.). People are everywhere in the room, including my boyfriend who is sitting in front of me (but not near) in a chair. I am completely on my own in delivering this baby. I am in severe pain, but I am not upset that no one is helping me. Pushing continues for some time, until I lift up (squatting or something) and catch the baby myself. I am overwhelmed as I pull the child close to me. She is very small and doll-like, almost unreal to me. I weep as I hold her close. My boyfriend walks over to my left and gets up close to look at her, smiling. He is overjoyed. In the dream, I am aware that he and I are married.

The dream ends here. I really have no idea what it might mean. To answer questions that might come up: No, I am not currently pregnant. My boyfriend and I are not sexually active, so there isn't even a remote chance. This was such a happy dream to me. Truly beautiful. I loved it and really wish I could dream it again. I was very aware of pain (which is where I think the cramps were coming in), but it was altogether a wonderful experience. I did find it strange that I wasn't upset about giving birth with no assistance. There were no drugs and all of the doctors and nurses were minding their own business.

Hah, if you mean me then Yes thanks. And you know what that reminded me off then, that advert where this guy takes a sip of his Strongbo (I know I spelt that wrong) and then you know when people go "Ahh" after drinking? He does that but for about half a minute and his mates just there "Dan! Dan, dan Dan-Dan-Dan-Dan, Danny! Danny Boy!"

This post was to JCee incase more people are Posting as I type

Ok, since this is an introductory post from Lizabeth.. I'll get it back on track by speaking to "her".

Hi Lizabeth and welcome! It may be that your dream is what you hope your future holds.. for your boyfriend and you to be married, for you to have a child, for it to be a wonderful experience, etc. The fact that it was a good experience and that you were able to handle it all on your own (the pain, the delivery and actually catching your own baby ) could be a positive statement about your mental and physical strength.

I'm just curious.. were you cramping (sometimes physical pain will transfer into our dreams).
