Hello, I'm new here and this is my first post so hello to everyone. Sorry about the shady thread title, I didn't really know how to put it. What I mean is, does having a natural ability of it help a lot when learning more in depth compared to starting from scratch.

I believe that I've done a lot of Lucid dreaming already without realising what it was. The main thing I've been able to do is start flying in any dream i've had (which I love and find really cool). It was only earlier on today that I found it is something many people can do and can be learnt.

The main question i'm asking is, does being able to do it naturally help to learn it easier/quicker than if you're starting from scratch or are other factors involved.
