Hey Selmuir welcome! Yeah, lucid dreams do feel like you are awake due to the vividness and you do literally have full control over almost everything.

      First.. welcome to Dream views!

Second.. you should write down all your dreams (non-lucid and lucid). Since most people have more non-lucid dreams and have them most mornings, you will greatly improve your recall by writing them down. This way, when you do have a lucid dream.. you'll be able to remember every fantastic second of it!

Again, welcome to Dream Views and, should you have any questions, please ask and we'll do our best to find you answers!
