Thread: My first post, and my first lucid dream..

Hello everyone, I am a noob at the whole subject of Lucid Dreaming, I have read a little bit about it on the web but never really pursued it. But last night I believe I had my First Lucid Dream... so here it goes.

okay, i went to sleep at like 2 am, so i started to doze off and i remember all of a sudden being at my high school. I was in my 4th period class and everything seemed super normal, everyone was there. it was nice and sunny out and nothing looked out of the ordinary. But all of a sudden i knew something was up because this one girl i know said something like "i want a hug" and she hugged me, which was strange because her boyfriend is in the same class. so i was like "okayy" and hugged her back, but anyways class was going on and seemed very bland, same lectures, same boring teacher, but all of a sudden i started noticing little things like the pencil sharpener was missing, the fish in the fish tank were blue instead of orange, etc. so i got up from my desk and went to the girl that hugged me and i grabbed her by the sides of the shoulder and like i remember in my mind forcing myself to ask her, "listen Heather... Am i dreaming?" and she said "what? hehe you're crazy" so i raised my voice and asked it again... she looked down and looked all reluctant to say anything, but she gave me a small thumbs up. And she said "please don't tell anyone.." i said "i won't" and i kissed her on the lips, lol. right after i said that, i woke up. and i looked over at my clock and it was 3:55 am. so i got up and wrote down the whole dream because i didn't want to forget it. and sure enough this morning the notes were here.
I'm not sure if this is what some would consider a lucid dream, but that's exactly how it happened. When i got up to write it down I was really just amazed, and kinda creeped out at the same time. lol. any comments or advice would be appreciated. Thanks For Reading
