Problem with reality tests

For the first time last night I asked myself if I was dreaming in a dream, the only problem was the reality test i did said that i was awake when i wasn’t. i tried to read a magazine in front of me. when i woke up i realized the magazine was nonsense but it was normal in my dream. and i tried to fly. but in my dream everyone flew so everything seemed normal. anyone know any way to counter this? thanks in advance

Hold your nose and try to breathe in. If you can, you're dreaming. It works every time.

The reality check that has never failed me is the "plug my nose and see if I can breathe" reality check. But it never hurts to do your favorite reality check a couple of times or even do two different ones.. just to really convince yourself that you're dreaming! .

another problem seems to be when im in a dream i seem to have little control over what im doing. i like to describe myself as kind of a zombie in a dream. how do i decide to do all these different reality tests if i can barely think clearly

has anyones hold your nose and try to breathe rc failed in a dream? i mean as though you actually couldnt breathe? swear it happened to me in dream last night. the whole world shook so i thought maybe i were dreaming. so first i looked at my hands and they were normal. then i blocked off my throat and tried to breathe and again i remember that i couldnt breathe either. this happened to anyone else? twas a bit gay as i missed out on an ld
