NEWBIE, has question

Hi, I'm new to the board and I hope someone can help me or answer this. It's making me crazy! I keep dreaming about the same person like 3 or 4 times a week. No he's not my bf or lover, just a person I know of from ex-relatives. First I used to go with his nephew when I was a teenager. Sometime in between breakups with his nephew I dated this person. I don't think it lasted more than 3 months or so. Anyway his nephew and me had a child together when I was 16. My daughter's dad (the nephew) died when my daughter was 6 weeks old. We have seen each over the years several times and even once almost slept together. But I didn't feel right about the situtation at the time. Thats another story anyway. Sort of spooky too. Now I'm like in my late 40's and I'm dreaming of this person like 3 or 4 times a week. Any clues? I don't think this person wants anything to do with me either as I'm not in contact anymore with this person. Please help. shasalady

Hey Sasha, If you dream of this person so many times a week, and you only see this person in dreams - then I say you got yourself a good dreamsign. Try thinking about what you'd like to ask this person as you're falling asleep. Think to yourself over and over that when you see this person, you will be in a dream. Hopefully you'll pull this thought into your dream, and become lucid. Then, simply walk right up to the guy and ask him why he's there. Could be that there's some unfinished business with him that you've been burying deep inside. Your subconsious might be tired of carrying it around. Time to face this person.

What is a dream sign? I haven't heard that phase till I came here. I will try the part about walking up and asking him why he's in my dreams so much. I have had what I believe are lucid dreams with the person in it also plus regular dreams. Thanks, shasalady

A dreamsign is a place, person, object or event that keeps reocurring in your dreams which can be used to tip you off or clue you into the fact that you may be dreaming. You know right now that you only see this person in dreams, yet in the dream you lose this sense of reasoning and carry on as if it were real. By training your mind to remember that this person is an indication of you dreaming, you will be able to become lucid when he appears next time.
