Hi and welcome, its good to hear that you are using a dream journal as it is an important tool for lucid dreaming. The hand technique is quite useful and usually always works as well. |

Hi. This is my first time posting but I've been trying to lucid dream for quite some time but I think I'm missing something critical to it all and am hoping for some advice! So, I started recording my dreams about 4 years ago and I have a lot of dreams written down, I think the longest break I took was 3 months and that was recently because I was really frustrated at my lack of progress. Now I'm going back to looking at my hands again and recording my dreams. I'm wondering how long it took people using the hands method before they were able to consistently lucid dream. Also, any tips on why my dream recall is good but my lucid dream is in the pits would be appreciated. (I'm probably leaving out a lot of important details but I don't know what to add.) |

Try doing a nose R/C instead. And when you go to bed TELL yourslelf your goin to have the most amazing LD tonight. Repeate it over and over, if your mind strays pull it back and repeate it again. Also tell yourself you will recognise your dreamsigns and become lucid. |
