hi I'm new and have a few questions

Hi i have been browsing the forum and decided i want to try WILD. it sounds like the easiest. I dont know we'll see. I'm a little scared about trying it, should I be?
      so for my questions.
      01. i have a bunk bed and i sleep on the top bunk. should i sleep someone else? after achieving ludicity, if i even do, will it be dangerous to be up away from ground?
      02. for WILD are you simply falling in a dream where you control it, or is your spirit "leaving your body". im a bit confused about that.
      03. does it have to be complete darkness? for my first time attemping would it be okay to do it during the day or with a bathroom light on, exc?

thanks for whoever answers my questions!

Welcome to Dreamviews! I'll do my best to answer your questions:

      1) If you haven't fallen off yet while dreaming, it won't be any different with a lucid dream.

      2) A WILD is simply you staying focused while falling asleep. You are in a normal dream, with a changed state of mind. There are individuals that believe you can leave your body as a 'spirit.' The "Beyond Dreaming" section caters to such info.

      3) Darkness helps most people, but if dim lights don't bother you, it's fine to have a bit of light.

Good luck dreaming, don't be shy to put forward any other questions you may have!
Have you heard the gypsy hymns in the odd hours of the night?

Just don't give up if you don't get it on the first try. I wouldn't say any techniques are too easy, but it is definitley worth a shot, go for it!

      Welcome:

      1) It makes no difference where you sleep, after all your still dreaming. Also everyone is paralyzed when they are sleeping anyway.

      2) This is debatable depending on your beliefs, some people believe that when we sleep our spirits enter another realm, however some thing we just stay in our minds.

      3) Not necessarily dark, just ok enough for you to get to sleep and not be distracted by the light.

Shoot for the moon, even if you miss it you will land among the stars.
