How to wake up after every dream? :)

      Hi all,
I tryed to wake up after every dream last night. I just said to myself 'I will wake up after every REM cycle' I was saying it in mind for a long time, but i failed... I got up only once, when i went to bathroom lol

But many people says that waking up after every dream is very easy, and you just have to say to your brains that you will do it. Anyhow, i couldn't do that... Or maybe i just dont have enought practice?

Btw, is it good to drink a lot before going to sleep? I usually drink water to wake up and record my dreams into my DJ...

      Any ideas?

      Waking up

Hi and welcome to the forum!

A good way of waking up is to Set an alarm.
if you use it for about one week you will get used to wake up and then just stop using the alarm... (remember: try don't move alot to much when you wake in the middle of the night) waking after about 6 hours of sleep is a good number...
Drinking alot of water don't works for me...

Water works good for me... Well, about alarm:

When should i set it if i want to wake up after every rem cycle? i've heard that every rem cycle continues for about 100 mins... So, when the first cycle comes? After 4 hours falling asleep or so? than i just add 100 mins from that time when first rem cycle comes and i set alarm when i wake up, i write my dream and i set alarm after 100 mins again.. And all night like this

So, when the first REM cycle comes ?

Keep practicing, you'll get anywhere if you're determined enough!

DAMN YOU PEOPLE AND YOUR IGNORANCE...

You already wake up after every REM cycle, you just either go back to sleep to fast, or don't remember it.

      It's a proven fact.
