      Hey

Hey im new here, not sure how active these forums are? but anyway i have recently become interested in lucid dreaming after reading about it from the internet.

I have never done it before but i am teaching myself to be able to do so

I have a few questions though, once you know how can you LD every night?

And you know how normal dreams are NOTHING like real life and nowhere near as detailed and Lucid dreams that vivid and detailed that you can confuse them with real life??

sorry for being a noob haha thanks.

Well first off to Dream Views. If you are interested in Lucid Dreaming than you have definitely come to the right place these forums are Jam Packed with information on Dreaming.

You may not have a LD every night, but the amount of LD's you will have after practicing various techniques, getting good with dream recall, and learning to do reality checks. These will all greatly increase the amount of LD's that you will be having.

Once certain techniques have been mastered you will be able to induce a LD at will. Some dreams can be more vivid than anything you have ever experienced before, some can be hazy, some can be just your average dream. Lucid dreams are the exact same some are clear, some are clearer than anything you have ever seen some are hazy, etc.

And as for the forums they are very busy with a lot of active members welcome to the site again.

Hi and welcome to DV. There are some members here who claim to be able to lucid dream everynight or at will. I, for one, can not. Practice will get you closer to that goal if that's the one you're striving for.
      See you around.

First of all, welcome! And to answer you questions, most people don't LD every night, but it would be possible with LOTS of practice. And when you have a lucid dream, they are very vivid like real life, but in a lucid dream you know you are dreaming, so you can't confuse it with real life. That is unless you have mental problems, but then LDing isn't recommended anyway. Dreams also have a distinct feel to them. Once you have your first LD you'll get what I mean. Welcome again!

How vivd would you say exactly, can your hear voices? ring people? feels things like the texture of stuff, could you do everyday normal stuff like catch a bus or watch tv? if it was that vivid but you KNEW you were dreaming then wouldn't it be possible to die in your dreams.. ?
