Found this forum by way of searching about Astral Magic. I've always been a lucid dreamer. I do everything from magic (speaking Latin no less - no idea what I'm saying though) to flying to changing endings of recurring dreams. I am really glad I found this forum to learn more about dreams and dreaming.

A lot of it I'm unsure of - like what flying means or using magic etc. I dream a lot of my horse.

I don't sleep well at all, and noticed there was a section that might help out with that.

I'm from Oregon, work in the field of fisheries. In my spare time I hang out with my horse, a Percheron or my house bunny and guinea pig. Read Mercedes Lackey and Frank Herbert, study paganism and magic. I do medieval reenactment in the SCA and love learning about dreams.

Thanks - this is a really interesting site. Never would have dreamed there would be something so extensive about dreams. Very cool.

I checked out that section - was trying to think if I had gone through any portals before - I've moved in between 'types' of dreams. It'll be fun to give it a whirl tonight and see what I can do.

One thing I've noticed is that I've gotten my flying really under control and am able to do it at whatever point in a dream I feel like it.

I've been very lucky to have always been a lucid dreamer - I thought all dreaming was that way until I started talking more to people about it. There is A LOT of stuff to learn - I can't believe how much information is on this forum.

Welcome to the forum Tas, it's good to have another natural on the scene. Maybe you can spread your knowledge with the less experienced.

I've been trying since last night to figure out how I do it so I can explain it. I'd love everyone to have the ability to lucid dream it's the best experience.

The best way to explain it is that I go to sleep always knowing I'm going to dream and do whatever I want to in them. Sometimes I might concentrate on something specific I'd like to dream about. Often it's very random.

I have a lot of medieval dreams about my horse.
