      Why?

When I am in a LD,

I say (think) to myself "This is a dream" and then wake up.

How do you gain control of your LD's?

EDIT: I just found a section for this, Sorry.

To gain control over your LD's you have got to use your will power.
And realising that it is you who creates it will enable you to create many other wonderfull things.

Yes I have this problem too but it only happened to me 1 night and it was about 3 times. I haven't been able to ask myself if I was dreaming or not lately.

Try not to get too exited, in my first few I though too hard and woke up. Eventually you will get used to it and stay alot clamer. Also, if I try and think about things to do my brain activity gets to high and I wake up. Having lucid goals also helps so you have some idea about what to do without thinking too hard.
