first lucid dream gone bad

OK,some time ago I dreamed of being in a bus and the bus was flying and under it was what looked like japan and though it was far away I could see the people and the houses and then I realized that it must be a dream so I used that "spinning" technique in order to go to another place but while I was spinning I couldn't think of a place I wanted to be and instead only feared winding up in a bull-fighting arena and there's when it got out of control and I actually wound up there and woke up of course...:p but it was fun to see it actually work I hope I'll get better in time

sounds exciting, why did you wake up, why not just try the spinning technique again to go a more favorable destination? At least you have had your first lucid experience, i havent had one since i was a young kid =( ive been working on it for months still no luck.

You seem relatively new, so welcome to Dreamviews! A lot of peoples' first lucid dreams never usually go perfectly. With time and practice, they'll undoubtedly get better and better.

Yeah, don't worry about it. In my first lucid, I actually just fell asleep in it, causing me to wake up in real life. Philosopher: No stairway? Denied!
