Smile New to the site, but not new to LDing

Well, hello everyone! I've been looking this site over the last couple of days, and I really like the atmosphere here. I have been interested in dreams, and psychology in general, for a very long time -- as long as I can remember. I remember a couple LDs that I had spontaneously when I was a child, so I can't really say I've never had one. But I haven't been able to induce one yet, they always happen when they're good and ready to. :p I find it hard to stick to a dream journal or inducing methods for long periods of time, but I hope this will finally be the time that changes.

Jordan M.G., welcome to Dream Views!

If you truly want to lucid dream on a regular basis, you will find the will to dream journal and/or to stick with an inducing method. I'm betting that if you experienced just one really great lucid dream.. you'd have the inspiration to do whatever it takes to keep them coming!

Please have a look around and, if you should have any questions, please post them and we'll do our best to get them answered.

I'm glad you decided to join us!

Well, I thought that I'd go to bed around 11:00 last night, which is an hour or so earlier than usual, to try and improve recall. I dunno what woke me up, but I got up around 12:45 AM and couldn't get back to sleep until 4:00. I managed to sleep in until 11:00, so I'm probably not sleep deprived, but I don't remember a thing from my dreams last night. I think part of me was a little too eager, because I spent most of my day looking through these forums. I'm going to take it easy today and try things again tonight.

Thats cool that you can already lucid dream (not many noobs can say that)
I also had a few lucid dreams as a child. Unfortunately, it used to scare me so much all i would do was try waking myself up.

If you really want it, you can make it happen. The few LD's I have had have been amazing. I'm sure over time you'll recognize the value, and find a method that suits you at least partially.

Well, I did manage to remember a dream, but it wasn't lucid. Oh well. I've started a dream log, but on my own site rather than here. I've titled my log Exploring the Dreamscape. I hope to fill it up more over time, of course, and I'm going to add a link to it in my sig as well.
