Question I'm Brand New at This.

Now I'm not new to Lucids...I've known about them for a while now...just never really tried to do it...I'm just coming out of a 2 month skateboarding deprivation because of my current job and I lost a lot of style and some of my favorite tricks...I figured this would be fun to do once I get it all figured out and I also thought it might be a good way to figure out how my tricks will work you know...do them in the dream world and get a feel for them along with my daily skating that I usually do...who knows maybe I'll get better than I was before all this work...any suggestions?

actually...I have questions...you don't have to go into detail but if you could let me know what forums to look at to find my answers and befriend me...that'd be pretty rad.

      anyhow...I was wondering.

how do you fall asleep and remain conscious? (wild)
how do you get relaxed enough to have a wild?
how do you make sure that you remember your dreams?
and another thing I saw on here, how long does it take you to learn how to fly? cause that's just gonna be fun right there

anyhow my aim is eyebrowssss if you guys ever want to chat at me and I'm working on getting my new myspace set up cause my old one is so overrun with old emails tht it actually runs really slow. so when I get done with that I'll hit you guys up with a link

      Welcome to DV, BoardDreamer!

how do you fall asleep and remain conscious? (wild)
Check out our Tutorial section here.
how do you get relaxed enough to have a wild?
Usually easier to do if you do the Wake Back To Bed technique (also in tutorials).
how do you make sure that you remember your dreams?
Try keeping a dream journal. Also, probably most importantly, try to wake up gradually and naturaly - not by alarm. Sit back with your eyes closed and try and think about where you just where (dream).

Me personally, I lurked on the site for a couple months or so (didn't want to join untill I had something to contribute). Had my first LD then joined! Was back in '05, been a regular ever since. Lucid dreams still come and go - sometimes you'll go through 'dry spells'. But they always come back sometime.

We got a great staff here and good members as well. If you have any questions you might not want to post for everyone to see (can't imagine what that would be, but..) feel free to PM me or any of the staff.
