You know, I really shouldn't think so. Unless you were trying to WILD, that mguht be bad.

Alot of times I will fall asleep listening to music and then I wake up in the middle of the night (either from the sound or from rolling over on top of my walkman). This gives a good shot for WBTB and also makes me seem to have more vivid dreams. For me it always seems that I will never realize I'm dreaming because there is deep sleep at the beginning of night but if I wake up then I can remind myself that I will be dreaming and have a better shot at an Ld.

Also does anyboady know if listening to music would tamper with getting rest in deep sleep. Alot of times I feel extremely tired if I wake up after about 2 hours and my headphones are still in and the music/talkshow is still on. I would probably be tired anyway but it seems like I'm more tired.

So I think music would help with Lds, especially if u hear it in a dream and reality check, but I'm curious about getting the same amount of rest and not being tired.

I find that when I listen to music I can get to sleep easier, which is useful when I am setting out to try to LD.

When I fall asleep to the radio, the commercials always make the DC's start saying the words.

Does this help you realize it's a dream any easier?

Because I hear it in real life. Therefore I hear it in the dream too

I tried listening to a halloween soundtrack when I went to bed, and I had a nightmare!
