I can't believe it !!! lucid dreaming naturally?

Since I was young (I’m 24 now) I was about 12 at the time, I had a recurring nightmare of someone running after me.
A black figure running fast behind me I’m on top of a tall building now the dream always stopped when I jumped off the building and always I’d feel the same "falling" feeling and the I awoke (I’m sure you've felt that too -- like your falling into your bed then you wake suddenly), well my sister said something to me - "you can never die in your dreams as the brain hasn't experienced death so you cannot know what its like" this made me confident... the next time I had the dream I stayed asleep repeating "you cannot die" finally (it felt like a really long time) -- I hit the ground but to my utter surprise I hit the ground running leaving the dark figure on the roof. From that day I’ve had a certain amount of control in all my "bad" dreams if something I find scary is happening I imagine myself somewhere else or get a bloody big gun and blast the "thing" away, I can't 100% control my dreams but I can direct them into where I want to go.

After watching "nights from hell" on TV about people who are haunted by there dreams and sleep walk, I decided to see if anyone else had a level of controlling their dreams... and WOOOW I couldn't believe it !!!! I found dream views I’m so amazed 1) I’m not the only one, and 2 its something I can work on to one day being able to completely control my dreams WOW -- I’m wondering has anyone else found they could control their dreams without setting out to try to?

Before I ever knew even what they were officially called I had a few lucid dreams. They were disappointingly short but I did fly in one so the memory of them has stuck with me a long time.

They just sort of happened though, I didn't do anything or read anything that would help me have one. Now I'm hoping to be able to do it when I want to after some studying about them.

I knew what it was before having my first one almost 13 years ago. But unfortunately, I didn't know anything about control. I just walked around looking at things in amazement.

I had my first lucid dreams before I new the name for them in fact up until about a month ago I didn't know and I was having daily lucids although in the past week I haven't had any so I'm gonna try an experiment to see if this works.
