Thread: Hey every1 a bit of help needed here

well to Introduce myself im Dillon and i never really go on a forums for dreams cuz i thought dreams are just random things that happen when you sleep with no real relation 2 life but last night i had a dream which has me completely baffled

okay so before i say my dream let me apologize i dont know if this is the right sub forum 2 put this in but i read a little and i tried 2 search theese forums but came 2 no avail

so if sum1 could give me a link explaining what WILD DILD or Lucid means thatd be great

okay so ill start off by giving u a bit of how my lifes goin as of now. Basically i like this girl that i knew since i was 6 and now im 17 we havent really talked tho until this year. now i just finished up with a break up and i wanted 2 move on except i dont know if this girl wants a relationship with me or with someone else but in a way i feel shes considering me strongly but she doesnt want 2 start something with me cuz she has feelings for sum1 else at this moment. So i thought about waiting becuase i didnt want 2 get into a relationship with someone else becuase i had strong feelings for this girl... except from out of the blue a close friend of mine said she liked me alot but i dont really have any feelings for her but i never rejected sum1 but finally i did and she accepted it but i think she still really likes me and really wants 2 start a relationship with me and i want 2 give her a chance but theres certain turn-offs about her but i believe in giving every1 a clean sleight because feelings can be gained and lost during time and people can change so even if her past is a bit tainted i still wanted 2 give her a second chance contrary to what friends have told me to do

now onto my dream...... okay this dream was EXTREMELY vivid i never felt anything like it or had a dream like it but i was in my church which was the same church me and the girl i liked went 2. now we were on the altar doing a presentation 2 the rest of the church except the church was empty. also i was a child and so was all the other "kids" on the alter except i only recognized 2 of them. to my right sat one of my best friends gf and me and her are cool and i have no feelings for her but her and my best friend have been dating for 4 months so i personally think their relationship is strong and just getting stronger and in a way i guess u could say i envy their relationship and i want something like theirs. and now to my right was the girl i liked as a child. i knew the 2 girls were children but i couldnt focus on their faces 2 really acknowledge them but i knew who they were. so anyways i started talking to the girl i liked and playing around with her i remember me playing or tickling her feet at one point if thats any help. so all of a sudden the church went quiet and it was my turn 2 read some verse in a booklet and it was written in a weird manner. this caught me off guard so the girl 2 my left (friends girl friend) helped me read it. i made a complete idiot of myself however becuase i could bearly read it and gibirish came out of my mouth so i sat back down quickly embarassed. i looked over to my right and i saw a childrens painting of what seemed like 2 red roses which the girl i lied was holding. she just held it however she didnt show it 2 the audience but all of a sudden she started 2 sing and it sounded angelic. i cant remember what she said becuase i knew i became entranced with her voice but all i remember was her saying the word beautiful or beauty if thats any help. after she stopped i snapped out and came "back 2 earth" but i also noticed that she became really close 2 me and her left shoulder was right beside my lips and at one point i was debating kissing it. also i noticed that as we were presenting people were constantly walking into the church especially when the girl i liked started 2 sing more people walked in. lastly i noticed that as she was singing everyone on the altar started 2 mature and grow up and at the end of her song i went from a 6 year old (i guess) to my age now ..17

and that was my dream the most vivid dream ive ever had i woke up and fell asleep after and had a couple of other dreams but they werent as vivid nor were they relevant 2 the dream above

OH and also during this dream when i first entered it i kept on saying THIS IS A DREAM IT HAS 2 BE A DREAM but it felt so real so my body started 2 believe it was real

By the sound of it you were borderlining on Lucidity (with the whole saying "THIS IS A DREAM IT HAS 2 BE A DREAM" thing). In case it happens again you should get into the habbit of doing reality checks. That way you could have become lucid easily at this point.

As far as interpreting your dream and telling you what it means I can't really help you. You could try in the section of the site that was made specially for dream interpretation.

Lucidity is basically where you are dreaming, but are conciously aware that you're dreaming. You can control the dream once you're lucid.

WILD stands for Wake Initiated Lucid Dream
DILD stands for Dream Initiated Lucid Dream

I'm thinking that your dream was telling you something important. Perhaps you haven't spoken because you felt that you weren't good enough or other confidence issues. Think about it: You couldn't read a simple verse, yet she for no reason could sing beautifully. Also, the whole "playing around" might signify that your relationship as of now is innocent and playful, further supported by the fact that you are children in the dream. I think your best friend and his girl friend were there for emotional support, if you will.

thanks hopefullninja but i was caught off guard with the verse but yes i think your right i guess i am a bit shy around her but we did talk about us and she didnt really give me a reply so at this point im debating if i should still go for it or 2 give it up cuz i think shes debating 2 be with me or not also. but yes i guess we usually just joke around alot but im more of the joker so ya i think there was some playfulness but i guess i was sorta lookin for an answer whether 2 give up on her or 2 still keep going for her through this dream i guess thats where im tearing myself apart. i've had a couple more about her but they havent been as LUCID () as this one

lol srry 2 ne1 whos reading this and shaking there head at me i know im kinda new at this and i feel embarassed as hell 2 publicly open up 2 yall but ya i have no idea wtf 2 do or think so ya
