Hello, |

I think it really depends on what works best for you personally. If there was a "best" method that worked for everybody, it would just be "the method" (or at least be stickied on the main forum page). Some people can't succeed with some xILD techniques, but can with others. Really, they're all just different paths to the same destination: the LD. How you get there is all about finding the shortest, most reliable path for yourself. |

LD Counter (as of 07.25.07) = 5 (2 WILDs)
Short-term goal: Recall three full dreams a night for a full week.
Long-term goal: Have three LDs per week for one month.
Longer-term goal: Have one six-hour LD every night! (Shooting too high? We'll see.)
Waking life goal: Round up some NPSG equipment to study my own sleep patterns.
Yeah good call, thanks again. |

I agree with you 100%. I have only had about 2 FILD's, but them seem to be very effective. I would definitely try to pursue this technique. |

Do you not experience SP during a FILD? I have been reading about it and it seems quite bizaar and I really don't feel like experiencing it lol. Does it occur because your brain still has that DMT (maybe its DTM) drug flowing and you're awake so its like you're awake but under a super psychadelic (sp?). It just seems weird thats if its a bad SP then its always bad, barney is never standing beside your bed or anything nice like that lol. Also what if you just had your covers over your head, you wouldn't see the halucinations or just close your eyes, has anyone experimented with this in a lite room, I wonder if it would be better? |
