How do you reach the "dream god" status?

I had multiple false awakenings this morning, and I pinched my arm each time to see if I really was awake. I didn't feel any pain, in fact I didn't feel at all, it just tingled when it should have hurt. :p I think I had 3-4 lucids in a row. I "woke up" in my bed, pinched my arm, got lucid and threw myself out of the window, haha. After a while it all would start over, I would be back in my bed and I'd get lucid and get out of the window and do something. Does that count as multiple lucids or just as one repeating lucid dream?

However, I just knew I was dreaming, I couldn't control things. I tried to make this building disappear using my willpower. I even closed my eyes and thought "When I open my eyes, the building will be gone", but it was still there when I opened them.

So any idea how to reach this "dream god" status?

edit: hmm... maybe I should have put this in General Lucid Discussion?

I don't think its that easy to become a dream god..
Not even close, but try to do small things and then bigger and if you have alot of lucid dreams you'll probably reach it..

      +rep for being from sweden..
I sleep so I don't have to feel

As long as we can swim freely in our dreams we won't need that sky anymore

Don't listen to these guys. LD control is the easiest part of the whole thing. Simply have genuine confidence that it will work. This is important. You have to actually fully expect it to happen. I've heard the accounts of many people who were able to control thier LDs pretty damn well right off the bat. Vividness is another matter, of course, but you will probably be able to reach a high level of control very soon, if you are having regular, quality LDs already. Good luck : )

Too bad confidence isn't my strongest side. I was thinking of trying hypnosis, I read something about that, about hypnotizing yourself and giving your sub-conscious a suggestion to have long and vivid lucid dreams. I feel I'd need some books on the subject of lucid dreaming. It's an interesting subject and reading about it maybe could get me confident in myself having one?

I say each time you become lucid in a different situation it should be considered a seperate dream.
It's possible to become lucid, lose lucidity and then regain it in the same dream and I count that as only on LD.

As for the second question, Practice and a will of steel?

If you're looking for something to do in lucid dreams besides fling yourself out windows, try out the monthly lucid tasks, here: http://www.dreamviews.com/community/...splay.php?f=43
August's tasks arent up yet but soon should be.

Dont waist your money on hyponosis for lucid dreams. Your subconcious cannot get such a suggestion. Hypnosis isnt real in a way. A lot of hypnotist claim it to be some wonder tool to alter your subconcous but realy its just a fun little magic trick. You could learn confidence with it and other subjective things. But by no means can it do anything like magicaly alter you subconcious. Hypnosis is only usefull as a placebo and a cool magic trick, nothing else.

On a futher note, confidence isnt real. Its just an excuse, you can turn confidence on and off whenever you want.

Theres probably loads of spelling mistakes in that but i dont give a shit.
