      Possible?

I know this is going to prove I'm the ultimate noob haha but is it possible to connect astrally with other people and bring them into your lucid dream with you or is that just an insane propositon.

I say no, but others around here might say otherwise. It depends on how you perceive the dream state - is it just a creation of your brain, or is it an actual separation or projection of your mind from your body? I tend to believe that the dream is all in your head, not on some other plane of existence. Again, others might have a different view.
      LD Counter (as of 07.25.07) = 5 (2 WILDs)
Short-term goal: Recall three full dreams a night for a full week.
Long-term goal: Have three LDs per week for one month.
Longer-term goal: Have one six-hour LD every night! (Shooting too high? We'll see.)
Waking life goal: Round up some NPSG equipment to study my own sleep patterns.

      I second that!
You'll find some people here believe that shared dreaming is possible, I don't. If you want to hear from people who do believe in that stuff, try the Beyond Dreaming forum.

You almost deffinatley can't. Dreams are all in your head, and lucid dreaming is scientifically proven to exist as a nurological phenomenon and there is no evidence to prove it spiritual. Just enjoy your own crazy world, it would be so cool if you could contact others but in the end its just all one very cool and very vivid fantacy.
LD count so far, from 1st of august 2007: About 6 or 7. (I forgot about LDs up until recently)

I will hunt all of you down and kill you in your dreams.

Then again you could always try it, and if you're really convinced your subconscious will try to create a DC like the person you're trying to bring into your dream... and make it believe you succeeded. And then if the other person doesn't remember you bringing them into your dream you can blame it on bad recall :p

And not to mention....another reason it is a myth is because people talk about it all the time, but are there people who have actually experienced it that weren't just being dillusional

i believe that dreams are all in your head, but i am skeptical that OBE's and NDE's are figments of your imagination too.

I don't believe LD's are "divine" in any sense of the word but I do think that there's more to it then pure imagination.

I also doubt this, but would consider it extremely cool if it were true. I've actually always thought about writing a story along these lines, even before I knew about lucid dreaming.

I doubt it, but I want it to be real. I'll only beleive it if it happens to me.

I see dreams as a separate reality my brain creates while it makes maintenance repairs. But I'm open to strange ideas...

most people think it isn't possible, but i believe that it is.

me and my cousin had two normal dreams with each other in it and we both described it pretty much the same.

      Meh. Mess around with it.

Science at what it is now can't prove much that is contained in the psyche.

In real life people are conected not only physicly , so you can asume that in dreams that conection is existing. Not that you have identical dream, but you may be conected somehow...

      sorry on my english

I don't think it is, if you can exert that much control over people and stuff in dreams you'd think they'd try and stop it if everybody was all connected

Well, I don't think you can, but if you could, we could create a team of people who use their lucid dreams to make others lucid... that would be awesome.

Yes you can, but I think you either have to want to connect dreams, or it will randomly happen, I have had two in regular dreams. but if you dont want it to happen or it doesnt happen randomly, your dream wont be connected

      ^Probably

My friends have recalled the exact same dream with each other in it just in a non-lucid state, therefore there should be a way to induce it through LDing.

one time my coworker said "pigment of your imagination" ... oh god, we made fun of him for about an hour.
