      Dream recall

hello, I am pretty new to Lucid dreaming, started a couple of weeks ago. I can always seem to remember 1 dream per night. Should I still make a dream journall or go onto the next stage? any hints to aid dream recall, please post them!

You can go on to the next stage, but it's best if you make a dream journal anyway. A dream Journal may further improve your dream recall, and also it will help you find your Dream Signs.

Hey there welcome to Dream Views.

A dream journal, in my opinion isn't a step you can really skip, rather one that stretches out your entire time lucid dreaming. At your level, by all means go on to trying the other steps, but be sure to focus in recall, it's more important than you might think. As dodo said, it'll improve your recall (you'll remember more dreams in more detail, more vividly) an it'll help you find your dream signs.

I think that though you can remember one dream currently i would not move onto the next step yet, you don't want to risk losing out on remembering one dream a night work it up to two or three before you continue, the results will be alot better if you remain patient.

If you continue keeping a dream journal you can boost your recall and make it easier to become lucid. It's alot easier if you can recall about 3 dreams per night.

Yeah, I should have added how much easier it is if you can recall a few a night. Maybe you should just try the basic things like reality checks and a ournal for now. That you you have a chance of a DILD.

Havn't a Dream Journal wouldn't hurt the dream proccess so I would suggest having one to right down any dreams that you think are worth remembering, worst case scenario you may find yourself remembering more dreams which isn't a bad thing at all.

      !
There's no reason to stop journaling, as remembering dreams isn't bad. And then you can look over them later for dreamsigns.
