      Problem with SP

      I use the WILD technique after 4 or 5 hours of sleep, but i cant seem to get anywhere with SP. I lay there, and relax, but the only thing that happens is my body feels funny. It stays like that for an hour and nothing else happens. Any tips on achieving SP?

      I have the same problem, I'm tired as hell after WBTB, yet I lay there and nothing happens.

      Lay in a comfortable position, relax, think about something, and try to go to sleep.

      I don't want to sound off-putting with this but the WILD technique is not for everybody, for some people it is easy, and for others it can take months to perfect, if you feel asthough WILD is for you, keep at it and continue to try, but keep in mind that if you continue to not achieve anything, just try another technique and don't let it dampen your spirit. If your trying to induce SP, try keeping your mind focused on one thing, if your mind is all over the place you are more likely to stay awake longer, the idea is to trick your body into falling asleep whilst remaining aware. Just concentrate on your breathing and try not to fall asleep, another idea is to imagine yourself walking down a road in which you see no end, this can help you focus, its helped me focus many times. Keep at it though but don't let failure get you down, best of luck to you!
