      hoffifying dream !

      Hi, I am new here. I had a dream lastnight that I am still thinking about. I dreamt that I was in the hospital and I had a baby. I dropped the baby on accident and it's head fell off. I was than going to be thrown into jail for accidently killing my child. I never got to jail because I woke up.


      I already have two kids, boys, ages 14 & 8. I never want another baby either. Yesterday my neighbor whom does drugs and is pregnant had her baby shower and my family was discussing amongst ourselves how sad it is that she was bringing another child into the world knowing that she is already living a life not good.

      Why did I have this dream? What could it mean???

      well first off welcome to dreamviews,

      personaly I dont think dreams mean anything and you shouldnt be afraid of dreams, they are just dreams and cant really get hurt or anything.

      I think its definately related to the conversation you had, and when talking to your neighbour the thoughts of bringing a baby into a life thats full of doom and gloom would end up in tragedy, well this obviously got into your subconscious thoughts and they were projected in your dream world, you saw yourself in the dream giving birth to a child and the child dropped and died, this may symbolise the pain that could be caused by bringing a child into such a horrible lifestyle. I hope I explained that well enough.

      thanks guys that did help me. I am such a protective mom as is and I shun drugs and abuse, so to have this dream really scared me.

      No problem at all, just don't let it bother you, just know that if you study your dreams it can tell you alot about yourself sometimes, just try to keep positive and listen to what your mind is telling you

      No, thats not what i ment, what i ment was that by observing your dreams you can learn alot about yourself, say you had a dream about killing someone, maybe it then helps you realise that your under alot of stress and you can control the levels of stress. Get me now?

      Theres no need to mock me and take the piss, if it was a lucid dream you would most likely be the one in control to a degree so it would most likely be your choice to kill someone, stop wasting my time though.
