      Hey there, welcome.

Lucid dreaming is where you know that you're dreaming. From that point, it is possible to take control of your dreams, so in effect yes, you can dream about what you want, but there is so much more to it. Worlds made in your head to explore, people inside your head to meet, things to do you enver imagined, it's a lot of fun.

Be sure to read the main site and the tutorials section http://www.dreamviews.com/community/...splay.php?f=25 to find out how to do it. Any questions, feel free to ask.

Lucid Dreaming is when your body is unconscious but your mind is aware of this. In this state, you can command your dream and do what you please. Imagine that you could control the world around you with a single thought. That is what Lucid Dreaming is like, right down to the sights, sounds, touch, taste and even smell.

LDing is just like a regular dream, but you know you're dreaming. After you realize that you're dreaming, you can usually change your dream, so yes, you could use it to dream about what you want to. But as Alex D said, there's so much more!!
