      Smile Me and my dreams

Hey, i'm all new to dream forums, i was purposly looking for a good forum to share and understand dreams when i ran in here. i see its mostly about lucid dreams, but i have had a few lucids, both before and after i knew what it was. i have been writing my dreams down for a long time, mostly keywords on sticky notes but lately i do complete re-tellings in word ducuments. (as i kept dreaming of one person whom i desired to share them with)

Either way, i keep being bothered by reoccurring dreams, but few nightmares. im having a hard time with life/growing up at the moment and its well reflected in my dreams.

What i wonder about though, is the way of my dreams and how they compare to others. i hear that alot of people dream in black&white, i never do that. and i see my dreams from multiple angles at the same time, if not all possible angles. allmost all my dreams are in the same "place" or "dimension" if i am in one location in dream, i can physically move to anothers dream area. (although not in time) all my dreams are connected with a series of railways for various trains. the trains is what keeps reocurring, in many of my dreams i get allmost run over by train, is to late for a train, get stuck in door of a train, is lost in train network tunnels, follow train tracks, cross dangerous train tracks, or trains take me a place i don't want to go.

i am wondering if such connections in dream is common, and if the trains are a problem to me (should i try to rid of them somehow?) or if anyone has any other thought.

i will make more specific treads later and i look forward to get dreams interpreted if anyone would like to help me with such.

thankyou for such an interesting forum!

To see a train in your dream, represents conformity and go along with what everyone else is doing. You have the need to do things in an orderly and sequential manner. In particular, if you see a freight train, then it refers to the burdens and problems that you are hauling around.

To dream that you are on a train, is symbolic of your life's journey and suggests that you are on the right track in life and headed for the right direction. Alternatively, you have a tendency to worry needlessly over a situation that will prove to work out in the end..

To dream that you miss a train, denotes missed opportunities or nearly escaping your death.

      Apparently...

      Welcome to the forum anyway

Thankyou, AdamA, although i can see where your suggestion comes from it doesn't feel quite right. but the trains in my dream seem to have different meanings depending on what dream they appear in, aswell of different types of train. I wonder if i can use lucid dreams to gain control over the trains and use it to help with my confidence in real life. the trains represents many different bad things, rooted in my fear. think i could do this, but unsure where to start. i read in the tutorial forum and will try something like that later, but i am not quite sure how to take on my problems.

Do you use a lot of trains in waking life?

No, i don't use them often, but i sometimes take the subway train (very characteristic red) and sometimes the fast train (its grey)

i dream of different trains of designs i never saw before, fast speed train that move at incredible speeds, dreams that i am late for the train often have the red ones. and then i rarley dream of black locmotive with smoke and burning fire, it looks evil. there has been a few blue locomotives that are nicer, and a few blue city railway wagon like things. (those are in the city i live in)
