      Nealy There??? Tips Wildddd

      Helloo,

This morning I woke up around 6am and went back to sleep, I started having a dream ( not lucid) but woke up half way through to find I had sleep paralysis so I thought " hey, i'll use this to lucid dream" so I closed my eyes and relaxed then * BANG* everything goes quiet and all I can hear is a massive road that sounds like a bomb going off and my body starts shaking very rapidly-
No images appered when I closed my eyes expect a lot of flashing lights ( I didn't concentrate on it though) I managed to stay relaxed but I found that i'm just awake then:S

I've been trying for a couple of weeks now... Am I nearly there?

And what shall I do next time this happens?

How long were you asleep before you woke to the SP? Maybe your REM periods weren't long enough yet to WILD?

Well it looks like you have tried to use the SP right. These phenomenas are very unpredictable, sometimes you will wake-up as you did, and sometimes you will enter a dream. In this particular case what may have happened is that you were at the end of an REM cycle, and your brain naturally woke you up.

That happened to me just last night!

I don't really attempt WILDs though, I just started being able to go into sleep paralysis. Its fun for me =] I just reverse blink for a while, and then enter it.

Anyways, my advice is to keep trying and concentrate more next time. Good luck.

That was pretty close to being Lucid actually, next time it happens just try to visualise being in a dream, seeing if you can make it happen. Also at the same time, concentrate on becoming lucid, repeat to yourself that you will go lucid.

Just a tip, it's best to wake up early, like you did. Preferably after 5 hours sleep.
