      Ld Via Sex?

      Hi Guys,
Im new here so i apologize if the question below sound a bit perverted.

Does sex help us in LD'ing?

This occurred to me a few time over the last 3 weeks. I usually slept earlier and my girlfriend will wake me up to..'aherm!'...and after i was done,i just dozed off within a few minutes and Bam!..Lucidity.I don't really know why?

      Another question.
Whenever i manage to enter a dream and realizing it, i tend to become over excited. How do i control it?

      Well...thats all for now.
      Thanks.

Are you familiar with the WILD technique? I'm guessing that your brain was stimulated, and you easily maintained consciousness during the WILD.

You mean you become over excited, and the dream ends, right? As soon as you gain lucidity, clear your mind of any thoughts. Then tell yourself, I know I'm dreaming. Then create a goal. This will give you something to focus on completing, rather than get excited over the fact that you are dreaming.

      Thanks,
Wild huh? well i have read about it...but i was never really sure that is how i become Lucid. I have always thought that i got it through DILD. I should read more i guess.

Yes, my dream always ended after i become over excited.
Should i Decide my goal before sleeping too?
See, i have tried that before but i always ended up dreaming about something else. It would be great if you can clarify that or perhaps show me where i can find out more about this.

      Thanks.

Yeah, it may not have been WILD, but the brain stimulation could also help with DILDs.
Yes, I would play out your goal in your mind. Visualize yourself becoming lucid, staying calm, and then carrying out your goal.

I have the same thing. A lot of my lucids occur when my girlfriend wakes me up, even if I don't try to. I suppose it's just WBTB.
How I discover what my dreams are about

In my last lucid dream I made pink sparks between my palms. I was trying to make a white ball of energy...

How long after sleeping would she have woken you up? If this was during REM it might have been possible for you to slip back to sleep in the REM cycle and dream right away, thus causing lucidity.

However ejaculation causes men to feel tired (FACT) and this would have helped you slip straight back to sleep!

I said keep doing it, in the name of science of course, keep asking her to wake you up and see if it happens more
