      Dam0cles The Dreamweaver

      H3LL W3LL0

I am an Internet-Born Entity. I exist solely on the world wide web. I am a Digital Ghost... Okay, not really, but some days it feels that way

I am Dam0cles, and I have been Lucid Dreaming since I was a small boy. I am a LARGE boy now... So, I am by no means a 'noob' to this, I have gotten quite good at it. I do not intend to brag, I strive to be humble, but I am Lucid atleast two nights a week, sometimes as much as 4 or 5.

I'm so glad to have found these forums, until now this was something I have rarely been able to discuss with anyone.

I've had some interesting experiences, especially lately. All you folks dreaming about two moons, holler at me. Any two-suns dreams, or freaky galactic skyscapes dreams? I dream about flying a lot, its one of my triggers. I also get those teeth falling out dreams. I rarely become lucid in tooth-losing dreams, I have a theory that its because this is a sign of anxiety, and when I'm dreaming of that it means I'm having anxiety issues and not in the right frame of mind to become lucid. I have anxiety attacks that wake me up sometimes. Zoloft helps, but some still get through to spoil my dreaming endeavors.

Lets see, what else? Recently, I've been reading (lurking a bit, sorry) on these forums, and learned a few things. For that, I thank you folks. One weird thing thats happened , is I've been practicing changing my dreams to what I want to do after attaining lucidity. I've gotten pretty good at that. One of the practices I've taken up is destroying/removing unwanted persons/things from my dreams. For instance, last night, my sister was in my dreams when I attained lucidity, and I decided to banish her, since I deal with her on a daily basis, lol, I figured I deserved a dream or two sibling-free. I looked at her and said "go have your own dreams, I'm gonna do my own thing". and she poofs, like Sam Beckett "Leaping Out." Someone else was there that i didn't feel weird about shooting with eye-lasers, so I zapped him and he vaporized.

However, I have encountered several people that, despite my best efforts I could not kill. I slashed them repeatedly with my "Sword of Dam0cles" and they just stayed. One of these types just shook his head, then challenged me to a basketball game. Amazingly, I held my own, even though I don't really play basketball. MMA is more my scene. I don't recall the outcome of the game, though I do remember getting tea-bagged when he dunked on me... Another odd moment, I was talking with someone I don't believe I've met in waking life, and my teeth started falling out. I was NOT lucid in this dream, as usual for the tooth-dreams, but had before this moment read that tooth loss is common in dreams, and can be used to trigger lucidity. I said to him how odd that tooth loss was and how it worried me. he looked at me and smirked and said "you DREAM a lot about losing your teeth, don't you?" still not lucid, I looked at him and said "yeah, how'd you know?" as that one whizzed right over my head.

Anyways, don't want to get too carried away on an introduction. I am a talkative sumbitch, love a good in-depth discussion, am amiable, too mellow to scrap most days, unless you commit injustice or flaunt prejudice. Even then, I'm not judgemental, I just don't like to see people treated unfairly... Peace, happiness, and pleasant dreams to you all.

Haha, Sam Beckett . . . what an obscure reference. Nicely done.

      And welcome!
      LD Counter (as of 07.25.07) = 5 (2 WILDs)
Short-term goal: Recall three full dreams a night for a full week.
Long-term goal: Have three LDs per week for one month.
Longer-term goal: Have one six-hour LD every night! (Shooting too high? We'll see.)
Waking life goal: Round up some NPSG equipment to study my own sleep patterns.
