      Dropping by to say Hi!

      I've never had a lucid dream yet, but I've had about three sleep paralysis.

      I have a question though. While I was sleeping all of a sudden I woke up (didn't open my eyes though, and I just continued the ride hoping it was a lucid dream) because I felt like I was falling. And eventually I hit a white floor, and I had full control of my thoughts. The only thing was I still had control of my physical body, not my dream body. I had thought I was lucid dreaming so I moved my arm, and I ended up waking up moving my real physical arm. So was I hallucinating?

      Well hey there Hype and to DreamViews!

      By the sounds of things you were in SP and you were maybe not as conscious as you wanted to be, but you were still conscious, as you gained this consiousness and awareness that you were sinking you must have hit the white floor, you probably had a bit of hypnogogic imagery present if you saw a few things controlled by your thoughts. And when this conscious jolt kicked in you moved your arm thinking that you were in a lucid dream when actually you hadn't reached the proper state yet.
