      Wink Persistence prevails.

Good morning everyone. Well, at least it is morning here and now with me. So I’ve been checking out this site for awhile and registered a few days ago but this is the first time I’ve been able to post. I decided to seek out some people I can relate to and talk to about my lucid dreams. It seems so difficult when your really excited about a dream you’ve had and no one can relate. Mostly I guess I started seeking help because my usually sporadic lucidity has become more frequent and nightmarish. Where it seems like I used to enjoy them now they are dark and frightening with lots of false awakenings etc. Anyway a little about myself: I’m a college student and waitress. I’m fascinated with this ability I and others share for almost limitless exploration. I want to learn to harness it better. My goal is to be able understand the meanings of my dreams as well as enjoy them. Hopefully this site will help.

to DreamViews, Sheena! Where all your dreams come true... hopefully.

But that's not something you want to happen when all you're having is nightmares! I suggest you take a look at these, they can offer more information on lucidty and nightmares than I can offhand.

In in any case, you'll find that DreamViews is the best site out there for lucid dreaming discussion. It's not a well-known topic, so it's nice to have people you can talk with.

I think from your post that you are already familiar with lucidity and how it works. Nevertheless, there are some things you might want to look at, namely, the acronym list.

Happy dreaming! If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.
      Are you dreaming?

Welcome. May all your nightmares come false. Wait, the English language doesn't work that way, does it?
