I just had my first LD!!!

I became Lucid for the first time just a few minutes back! I tried it for a couple of weeks recently but could not make it work so I thought I'll try later and put it aside. I even got Steven LaBerge's book. Then today it just happened. Well, within the dream I thought I'll take a ride in my car and as I am driving, I see a car in the opposite lane that is completely off the ground. It was hovering but still going forward over the road. So I thought, "hmm, that doesn't look right" and then I immediately see another car backing out of a driveway with the two rear wheels in the air. I again was like, "how can that be?" and then I had these exact words go thru my brain, "Am I dreaming?" I realized I was in a dream and almost simultaneously I began to fly. My dream car or point of view began to take off. Everything became so bright and felt exhilarating. My heart started to beat faster. Suddenly, I could feel my consciousness kicking in. It had been only about 5 seconds since I became lucid. And I woke up with a huge grin on my face. This is my first post here. I hope to learn a lot.
