Hi, I'm new and have a couple questions

Hi, I've been reading this forum for a while, and just decided to post

      Anyways..

First question: This was way before I even KNEW about LDs. I went to sleep normally, and "woke up" at some point on my bed, was completely numb, couldn't move or scream. Has a huge urge to scream though , for some reason, even though in real life there's nothing that'll scare me. So anyways, I was in my bed, numb and deaf, and some people were in the room talking crazy stuff. I don't know who they were but it was creepy. What kind of sleep paralysis was this?

Second question: This was before I knew what LDs were, too. I "woke up" during the night and started doing things without thinking. I remember walking my blanket, dropping it off in the kitchen (for whatever reason), and doing other strange stuff. Mainly just walking around the house. The thing is, I pretty much couldn't control myself. It's like I was sleeping with my eyes open, without being able to control my body. Is that sleepwalking or what?

Last question, and most serious of all: Last night I was intentionally LD'ing, and some weird things happened. In my LD, I ended up in my sisters house, which she recently purchased. I figured that was it since she was in my dream as well. I've never been to that house or seen pictures of it. Yet when I woke up this morning and went to visit her, I noticed some very striking similarities in my dream and in the real. The structure of the house matched nearly perfectly, and I noticed things like...a new Vase that she bought without my knowledge, among some other things I haven't seen before. Yet I've seen them in a dream. How is that at all possible? I almost passed out when I walked into the house. It's like I've seen the future or something...Comments?

      Thanks a lot

1 - could be sleep paralysis, you might have woken up in the middle of a dream for some reason. The voices make me think that because the dream center of the brain is still sending you signals so you have audio hallucinations. It's nothing to worry about.

2 - if you actually did that stuff and found your blanket in the kitchen the next morning, yes you were sleepwalking. Try locking your door, I don't want to you fall down a flight of stairs or anything.

3 - she probably described it to you or you've heard brief descriptions, even if you didn't pick it up then. The subconscious hears things that you don't (read my subliminal study in the lucid aids section.) Other parts may have been luck of just the fact that all houses have some things in common.

      Welcome to the forum richie,

      Hrm:

1: Just sleep paralysis with a bit of audio, nothing to be afraid of.

2: You just slept walked, you were drowsy and weren't paying attention. Sort of like being really tired. It weren't a false awakening.

3: Did you know you were dreaming? If you didn't then it wasn't a lucid dream. Also just sounds like a weird thing, like dejá vu. Maybe you saw pics of it or something.
