But I dohn't wanit to go amongst mad people Alice remarked.

      Hoi.

I've been interested in Lucid Dreaming for some time now, and I've been trying to have one for quite some time now. But mostly all I've done has been halfhearted, so I'm hoping that joining a LD'ing Mb will really get the ball rolling if ya know what I mean.

I was also wondering if using a tape recorder as a dream journal is a good idea, or if I should write down my dreams.

      Thanks.

      Hey what's up.

I find a sticky note the best for me, but a tape recorder is a good idea if it works.

      Welcome to the forum Dracco!

A tape recorder has been suggested before and apparently it was a good thing to use. I'd probably talk into it and write down what I said on the tape later in the day.

      But thats just me.
These are the tears that I dream about...

Thanks I think I'll try using a tape recorder cause I'm too tired most of the time to write down my dreams.

      And nice avatar Aphius.

"The time has come," the Walrus said,
      "To talk of many things:
      Of shoes--and ships--and sealing-wax--
      Of cabbages--and kings--
And why the sea is boiling hot--
      And whether pigs have wings."

Welcome to DV! Lucid dreaming IS a lot like going through the looking glass!

Use whatever works best for you! A tape recorder sounds like a great idea. You will be able to lay there in the dark and hopefully get back to sleep easier than sitting up and writing for 10 minutes.
you must be the change you wish to see in the world...

I remember watching the video of Alice and Wonderland. They ended up eating the clams, I think.

Anyway, welcome to the forums. Use any method of recall that suits you- in Lucid Dreaming, there aren't really rules. They're more like, guidelines.

(see if you can get that quote) .

      WELCOME TO THE BOARD!!!!

I have been wanting to buy a tape recorder to record my dreams, cause I am way to lazy(and busy) to write down my dreams when I wake up. I guess I could if I went to bed earlier and woke up with enough time to do so, then I might...who am I kidding, I still wouldn't

Anyway, tape recording your dreams sounds great, as long as you listen to them every now and then, so that your mind still gives them the importance that you need them to have to improve your recall...
      If I hadn't made me
I'd be more inclined to bow
Powers that be would have swallowed me up
But that's more than I can allow...

Thanks for the idea - I'm sure it works great.

Its my way of waking up slowly anyway
Get up, sit by the computer, type or, now, record the dream

If its a good dream, or lucid, I'm usually pretty excited by it anyway

Maybe I will try it as well.
