      New Girl

Hiya! Im a newbie to this page, but not to dreaming!

Example of one of my lucid dreams?

      - Okay, the whole village thinks that Im some kind of monster, because I like to be out in the night (we're in the middleage or so). Then, at night, I stand and look at the stars, when suddenly the village people come running! I want to scare them, I feel like flying. Then, I look at my feet and I have.. Like, claw-like duckfeet! I really want to fly, so I just take of. Then I fly over the creek, touching the water with my "hands" (couldn't see them, weird!).

Sadly that dream ended too soon. I really want to learn to get these dreams on purpose. I can never control a dream from the beginning. It's always in the end I realize I can do it. And I mostly end up getting wings
I need to learn this, so Im going to learn from the pro's!

Hi there. I am also new. That dream sounds surreal.
Here you will learn all there is to know about LD's (Lucid Dreams).
Sounds like we are both off to a good start.
The real journey starts here and remeber to keep a dream journal.
      That is key.
All the other processes you can learn as you go.

You're both new, so I suppose I can welcome you both!

It's great that you've already had experience with lucid dreaming, I'm sure it will help. Dreamviews is the best resource on lucid dreaming, with the forums, tutorials, and main page, so I'm sure you'll always be able to get an answer.

Oh, and hands are always weird in dreams. Sometimes they're misshapen, have the wrong number of fingers... or in your case, not exist. This is so common that there is the hand RC (reality check) where you check the number of fingers you have.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

      Thanks Webmaster,
I RC during the day every 30 mins, since I work on a PC, I can use the Saltcube alarm. I look at my hands (front and back) and say to myself "Is this a dream?", "Am I dreaming?".
      Hope it helps.
My second LD I first looked at my hands and my fingers were all like wobbly tentacles, so I became lucid and had a great dream.
Hope this continues for both of us.

Hey welcome to the forum, you are in the right place to learn about lucid dreams and controlling and prolonging dreams. To start from the beginning the WILD technique would be best, as this puts you into a lucid dream to start.
If you have any questions please ask.

      Adam.

I think im dispossed for having these kind of dreams. Ive been experiencing things like that for so long I can remember. And I have been keeping a dream diary for some years, I just didn't realize how helpful such a thing could be.

Thanks for the hands thing. Never thought about that. Just read all about RC.

I can't wait to get to sleep tonight! Got a holiday, so I have lots of time to practice. Thanks you all!
