      Why?!

Whenever I have lucid dreams I always become lucid/do a reality check whilst lying in bed. (As in, my dream-self is lying in my bed)

So when I become lucid, I am always in my bedroom, have to get up out of my bed, etc. I can never seem to become lucid like during a dream if that makes sense.

I try to imagine a different scene, try walking through doors and imagining different places but I can't seem to get it to work.

      Any suggestions?

      Thanks.

So basically you're becoming lucid from a false awakening?

You just need to remember that it's your mind that you're in and whatever you want to happen you can do! You could try telling that to yourself once you become lucid.
Also, have you tried spinning? That seems to have worked for a lot of people. Or just be creative and see what happens. Try making a mirror appear and running into it or something

^^ That's good advice! Try this: next time you become lucid, get out of bed and go into your bathroom and climb onto the counter and through the mirror. It's quite probable that something extra ordinary will happen!

Yeah, I've got to admit that the mirror is the best option. But i know from personal experience that in FA's you can find yourself locked in the bedroom, or wherever you are.

What works for me is, thinking as hard as i can about a location i wish to go, And then falling backwards with my eyes closed. When i open them- I'm usually lying flat on my back wherever i wanted to go.

The only problem with this is, if your new to Lucid Dreams. In this case, Thinking too hard about another location can either cause you to forget you are Lucid- Thus you do not fall backward, Or you wake up. Closing your eyes also causes this.

Whatever you go with, I hope it works for you!
