      Hi everyone

Hi everyone. I've been working on dream recall for a few months now after I found this website. I finally decided to post up on here.

My dream recall skills come and go. I work 2 jobs and there are mornings I know I am just too tired to try to wake up enough to write down what I was dreaming. On the mornings I get to sleep in, though, I usually wake up enough to pick up the pen and write.

I think in the past few weeks I've had a couple of lucid dreams. Nothing like doing anything I want, but, having some degree of control.

I remember standing in a shop or something and someone asked me a question or was telling me what was gonna happen and I was like, no I don't want that, and it didn't happen. It's happened like that twice now that I remember.

      Anyways,

Here I am, how yall doin?

Hey, welcome to the forums! Good to see you did research and stuff before posting something like, "how do I lucid dream?" lol

Also, good to see you have a dream journal going. For those dreams that you think you were lucid, did it ever come to your mind that you knew you were dreaming? That's what being lucid is all about. You should know that you are in the dream. It is possible that you can have some control even without being lucid. This is what it sounds like to me, from your post. That's a good first step though and I wish ya luck. If you are too tired to jot down dreams with a pen, maybe use a tape recorder??? That's what I do, it still works pretty well. I think writing down your dreams works better though.

      I'm doin good btw

Hi and welcome to Dream Views.

I'm busy lately and terribly lazy to boot. So when I wake up in the morning I very quickly jot down a sentence or even a word or two about each dream I remember. When I get the time later I go back and write out the rest of the dreams using the previously written sentences as memory triggers. It usually works.

If that's not an option, I'd say try the recorder like MIchael suggested. It can be quite the time saver.
